Yes. Buddhism affects our life. A saying was very impressive for me.
The saying is "Even a chance meeting is due to the karma in previous life." (袖振り合うも他生の縁)
Its mean is similar to "meeting only once in a lifetime." (一期一会)
This saying seems to come from Buddhism.
I liked this saying, but I knew it came from Buddhism and was very surprised.
There are other sayings and words about Buddhism.
So I thought that we came with Buddihism before we know.

I like the saying "meeting only onece in a lifetime.", too. I always think it is importamt to cherish interpersonal encounter.
